The personal copy of Gerald Walter Erskine Loder, 1st Baron Wakehurst with his bookplate. Gerald Loder developed the gardens at Wakehurst Place in Sussex. New Zealand's conservation award, 'The Loder Cup' is named after him.

Large folio, unpaginated, publisher's gilt lettered red cloth covered boards. Illustrated throughout in black and white. Some fraying along spine, some moderate rubbing and wear, scattered foxing, else in good + condition.
