ALFA ROMEO Gran Premio Tipo pamphlet Milan history 1975 sportscar racing Italy

This is “Alfa Romeo,” a previously-owned fold-out pamphlet manufactured circa 1975. It is in great shape with some general wear (see picture)…

Alfa Romeo Automobiles is an Italian premium car manufacturer and a subsidiary of Stellantis. The company was founded in 1910, in Milan, Italy. "Alfa" is an acronym of its founding name, "Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili,” and "Anonima" means "anonymous,” which was a legal form of company at the time, as it was founded by anonymous investors. The first car produced by the company was the 1910 24 HP, and the company immediately began its venture into motor racing. Alfa Romeo has competed successfully in Grand Prix motor racing, Formula One, sportscar racing, touring car racing, and rallies.
