PTFE - Polytetrafluoroethylene
PTFE/TEFLON belts are more commonly used in CVT transmissions as they withstand a lot more strain than the usual belts.
These belts can withstand up to 2000 BAR of pressure and temperatures from -80c to +330c.
Dayco has since added the PFTE to its more high-performance applications to offer a greater/stronger timing belt than any other on the market.
These belts also come with a 3 year 'long life +1' warranty which is 1 extra year of the standard Dayco timing belts.
