Manuscript letter in the hand of Julius Sachse laid in that indicates that only 6 copies of this book were produced, this being number 5. Originally the property of Robert Heysham Sayre.

Folio, original blue leather ornately lettered and decorated in gilt. Raised bands, and gilt decoration to spine. All edges gilt, inside gilt dentelles. Illustrated with 47 plates. Some rubbing along edges and corners, front hinge cracked, rear hinge starting and tender, a few chips to the spine, some discoloration and foxing, else in good + condition.
