Here are twelve early issues (#8-19) of Battle Games in Middle-Earth, a 21-page bi-weekly periodical published in the United Kingdom (for several years, starting in 2002) by DeAgostino featuring articles and scenarios for Games Workshop's Lord of the Rings miniatures game. Each issue was originally packaged with one or more miniatures, or paints; they are not included here. These are the magazines only. Each issue characteristically features a section with stats/rules for the game, a scenario for the game, a painting workshop (typically a guide to painting the originally-included miniature(s)), and a modelling workshop (generally focused on creating scenery elements).

#19 includes a page of cardstock stand-ups. None of the others include any inserts, although I know that #17 originally came with stand-ups as well.

#8 has tears/a hole in the front cover; #11 has some peeling on the front from water damage; some have a fair amount of stress creasing on the spine and/or some wrinkling from handling. The pages are in very good shape aside from some handling creases.

I go through each item page by page to check the condition; I want to be as clear about the condition as I can. That's not to say I necessarily catch every detail, but I'm pretty confident that if there are tears, or writing, or missing pages, or other substantial flaws, I will know it and account for it in the description.
