LISTED FOR AUCTION TODAY IS A WONDERFUL TURN OF THE CENTURY PIN. IT IS UN-MARKED, WEIGHS APPROXIMTELY 2.2 GRAMS AND MEASURES ABOUT 2 1/8" X 1 3/8". CRAFTED IN AN ABSTRACT OPEN WORK DESIGN, IT HAS REMNANTS BOTH FRONT AND BACK OF A BRIGHT SILVER WASH. AND SECURED WITH PRONGS IS A POLISHED LUSTROUS MOTHER OF PEARL CENTERPIECE THAT MEASURES ABOUT 1 1/2" X 2.7mm WIDE. AND SET INTO THE FRAME ARE TWO FACETTED GLASS FOILED RHINESTONES, ALSO PRONG SET. THE BAR AND PIN ARE A SEPERATE PIECE, SECURELY CLAMPED TO THE PIN AND IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. MUCH OF THE SILVER WASH HAS BEEN LOST, BUT IS IS A NICE EXAMPLE OF EARLY PERIOD COSTUME JEWELRY!
