This listing is for FULL SET of brand new Benchmark Performance Ignition Coils to fit the 1.8 TFSi

These are designed to fit and upgrade the 1.8 TFSi (and other cars listed in the compatibility table above) will hold 700bhp without issue
Brand new in box!

Little trade secret here...We actually use the same 2.0 R8 coil that we sell to the R8 customers and put it on the shorter 1.8 type body, there is no advantage to using the 2.0 coils and an adapter plate, these are actually better.

These are all supplied in Blue Colour with BENCHMARK branding, they are highly uprated and come with 1 year warranty, these are the best coil packs you will find on eBay regardless of price.

These coil packs have totally different internals to other coils you will find on the market, from day one they have been designed from the floor up as a performance item, upgraded resistors, thicker windings, even the plastic case is made of a higher quality material and the metal body has been polished as you would expect with any well made performance product,
as a result they offer long life and performance spark delivery during harsh conditionsThese are a firm favourite in the UK forum and Facebook community and have made a name for themselves on track and on the street, do not settle for anything less.

For those that wish to know a little more about us and our design philosophy which sets us apart from the rest..

We started out at the drag strips in the uk with old cars and nitrous, trying to make them do times that they should not have been capable of, the first thing to fail on these cars was the ignition, over a certain level they would misfire and we would need to find a way to cure that, of course the a misfire can be caused by timing and air fuel ratio but when these are ruled out you are left with the strength of the spark itself....At first step we would rig a wire to the ignition coil so it got 14.5v rather than 12v when we were on full throttle and that done great, after that we found we could remove the rotor arm and dig the resistor out and replace it with copper bar which gave us quite a bit extra (but didn't do much for the radio reception lol), then we found resistor less plugs that gave us another way to creep the power up, we tested all the HT leads we could find and fitted whichever were the lowest resistance but eventually it all came down to the ignition coil and that's where the real learning curve begun for us and ended with the products you see today that are branded "Benchmark"
