Labradorite
...is a plagioclase from the group of feldspars and the mineral class of silicates, a quite common mixture of anorthite and albite. What is striking about the labradorite is the iridescent play of colors in a metallic sheen, the so-called labradorescence, which is reminiscent of the colors of the northern lights. Labradorites are among the most beautiful minerals that shimmer in all colors and can shimmer from green to orange to purple or bright blue, similar to moonstone, as well as in all colors of the rainbow. The labradorite is partially translucent and has beautiful different grains and structures. Our pictures in the offer illustrate the variety of possibilities of color and structure. Another variant of the feldspar mineral labradorite is spectrolite. Labradorite is also used as a healing stone in alternative medicine, without the healing effect being confirmed in clinical studies.

Green jade
...with its pleasant color is slightly translucent, has a very nice sheen and a slightly structured mossy appearance.
"Jade" is a common trade name for a group of mineral mixtures, which are mainly formed from jadeite and nephrite. Jade has been in use in China for at least 8,000 years, and over time a real cult has developed around it. In Europe, the Pacific, the Eastern Mediterranean and especially in Central America, jade was processed thousands of years ago. In the course of the colonization of the 19th century, jade increasingly found its way into the jewelry culture of the West. In the 1920s, jade became one of the most sought-after fashion accessories. In the hippie culture of the 1960s and 1970s, jade became a magical attribute and esoteric "philosopher's stone". The natives of Central America used jade as a healing stone and for amulets against kidney disease.

Opalite
...(also Inamori-Opal or Kyocera-Opal) is a trade name for synthetically produced opal and is basically opalescent glass. Other names for this glass product include argenon, sea opal, opal moonstone, and others. This term is also used to distinguish impure varieties from different colored common opal. Natural opalite is also called "common opal" to distinguish it from opalite glass. The production of opalite by a Japanese company was based on the natural structure of opals, so that the typical opal shimmer could be successfully reproduced.

When opalite glass is placed in front of a dark background, it tends to appear in blue tones - against a light background it appears milky white with orange and / or pink-pink shimmer. Due to the manufacturing process, air bubbles can sometimes be trapped.

Labradorite and jade are sensitive to heat, acids and alkalis as well as galvanic baths. Cleaning in an ultrasonic bath can and will damage the stone. Labradorite is softer than quartz and therefore quite sensitive to scratches. Careful handling goes without saying. Take off your jewelry before going to bed, during sporting activities and various physical work. Avoid contact with water, perfume and personal hygiene products, too high temperatures and their fluctuations such as in the sauna. It is also advisable not to expose labradorite and jade to excessive sun. Therefore, never wear jewelry made from these materials in the solarium.
Opalite is less susceptible in these respects, but every type of jewelry should be handled carefully and removed at night.

Every plug is handcrafted and unique. Every single piece is always unique in color and shape.

Natural jewelry made of organic materials (e.g. wood, horn and stone) is usually suitable for allergy sufferers. When used as intended, the jewelry is harmless but cannot be sterilized.
