President Ignacio Ribó, CEO José María Galera Monegal engaged to raise capital from the public through strong commercial device (in April of 1974 contract the well-known FC Barcelona player Marcial Pina as public relations) press advertisements etc..offering a 12.25 % Annual interest payable 2 times a year plus an insurance policy they used in the construction and subsequent sale of property primarily (see "La Vanguardia" June 27, 1973).

ilustrando el logo de la compañía.Como se puede adivinar, viene a decir que se tiene presente el conocimiento previo,la antigua experiencia ( antiguas tradiciones , proverbios , lenguas antiguas ) pero hacerlo (o comunicándolo ,expresándolo,ejecutándolo) de una manera nueva, con nuevas tecnología, tomando lo que es viejo y darle una nueva oportunidad de vida. Aplicado a la empresa sería tradición ,experiencia ,espíritu conservador pero con innovadora ejecución y presentación.

Una colosal cartera de inmuebles en las mejores zonas de Barcelona (principalmente),Tarragona,Reus y también en Playa de Aro o un solar en Las Palmas de G.C. era completada en 1973.

INFIESA con capital de 50 millones de pesetas compran con otros inversores en 1974 una ficha bancaria :El Banco Mercantil (antiguo Banco de Valls) al Banco Hispano Americano por 1500 millones de pesetas pero un grupo de empresas financieras que iba a apoyar las bases de la actividad de la ficha bancaria se desmarcan (ver texto más abajo)ante varios escándalos.Parece que quiebra Infiesa y el texto es extraído de la red (usuarios multimania.es/lagrancorrupción) en el momento de efectuar este informe no tengo más datos.El modelo es parecido a "FIDECAYA"de moda en la época.

Galera, con su quebrada Infiesa, Fondo de Inversión Inmobiliario, y otros, compramos, año 1974, el Banco de Valls (el Mercantil en ese momento) al Banco Hispano Americano. Sin culpar al Hispano por vendernos lo que solo era “una ficha” bancaria por 1.500 millones, que no alcanzamos a cubrir, la operación fue por si misma suficiente para acabar con la Caja General de Crédito Sociedad Cooperativa. Después de las urbanizaciones, mi error más grave pretender que la suma de empresas financieras que yo creía me apoyarían para canalizarlas en un Banco, única viabilidad para su actividad, se desmarcaran ante varios escándalos, entre ellos el Banco de Navarra.
