HALITE CRYSTALS - 4.2 cm - Fluorescent -

SIGMUNDSHALL MINE, GERMANY

This is a very good example of the halite crystal groups from an uncommon European location. It is a beautiful undamaged mass of sharp colorless crystals.

The fluorescence of this specimen is moderate, but also a very beautiful rose color. It's UV SW fluorescence is photographed with my weak (4 watt) lamp. It makes a good fluorescent display.
