This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the 1967 British Film Adaptation of the PETER WEISS play "THE PERSECUTION AND ASSASSINATION OF MARAT AS PERFORMED BY THE INMATES OF THE ASYLUM OF CHARENTON UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE MARQUIS DE SADE" at the Americana Theatre in Austin, Texas for one week beginning March 3rd, 1967. (The Original Broadway production opened December 27th, 1965 at the Martin Beck Theatre in New York City and closed April 30th, 1966 after 145 performances.
