ABOUT ME
I was born in Far East of Russia and spent my childhood in Eastern Siberia. Herbalist in 4th generation, I spent time gathering wild produce with my family and growing plants organically in our garden. I miss pristine taiga forests of my homeland with their unique flora and fauna, wild mushrooms, berries and 500 year old centenarian Cedar Pine trees.
I have been bringing Siberian Pine Nut oil and other wildcrafted products to Australia since 2008. I regularly have handpicked quality Siberian Altai Mountains and Caucasus Mountains herbs and berries in stock.
Siberian Cedar Pine is considered to be Russia's treasured raw material with export duties imposed on its export, so it poses certain difficulties to bring it to Australia.
The Altai Mountain Forest steppe ecoregion, the highest mountain system in southern Siberia, stretches from the Beluha mountains on the Russian Kazakhstan border southwest to central Mongolia.
All parts of Siberian Cedar Pine are used in traditional herbal medicine.
On the photos you can see the Pine Resin as it is gathered, containing Pine bark. It is quite sticky to touch and has distinctive fresh aroma.
Pine wood and Pine Resin are highly antiseptic. They cleanse and disinfect the air around themselves kilometers away that is why Pine Forests are pristine clean with no bacteria able to survive in and around them.
100% Pine Resin is pure undiluted Pine Turpentine without additieves, can only be used externally when diputed with any good quality vegetable oil 1:4 (it will make 25% concentrated Resin). Dilutes well in oil.
It has been collected by hand whilst running out of the tree naturally - what the Pine gives by itself. People we take it from do not damage the Pines intentionally to force the Resin out in large quantities for sales.
"Resin" in Russian means "Energy, Life". Pine Resin has been used by indigenous people of Siberia as healing and skin regenerative medicine. It helps to regenerate the body at a cell level.
Why Siberian Cedar Pine
Siberian Cedar Pine is the grand tree growing to 40 meters high, trunk diametre 1.5-2 meters. It grows very slowly, reaching maturity and starting to form the pine cones from 40-50 years old. It lives to 500-800 years. Pine cones mature slowly with the nuts ready on their 2nd year only. Time seems to slow down in the Pine Taiga forests of Siberia. Old Siberian Cedar Pines accumulate cosmos energy and are often called "ringing Cedars". They share their energy with people who come to harvest their fruits carefully, sustainably, sincerely and with respect. All parts of Siberian Cedar Pine are used in traditional herbal medicine. Indigenous people of Siberian Taiga used Siberian Pine Nut Oil for centuries, calling it "Remedy from 100 alignments". |
