stages of development, essentially making it a type of birth control for insects. 

Gentrol Point Source Stations do not act as an adulticide, so they should be used as part of a broader integrated pest management approach. 

The IGR helps to keep target insect populations under control, which is especially useful in areas where conventional sprays and foggers are not appropriate or where baits are less effective due to competing food sources.
