The Last Thing You Need To Worry About Is Your Shoelaces...
How to Install Your Lock Laces™
Step 1: Lace Up
Remove your old shoelaces, and lace up with your new elastic shoelaces. We always recommend installing the lacing system with your foot in the shoe to ensure a proper fit. Adjust your laces so that they are snug but comfortable.
Step 2: Lock In
Next, grab a Lock Device. Press down on the top of the lock to open the passages with one hand, and thread the ends of your laces through the openings with your other hand.Once the laces have been threading through, press down on the top of the lock again, and slide the lock to the tongue of the shoe. Release to secure the Lock Device into place.
Step 3: Trim to Fit
Before trimming the excess lace, make sure that your laces fit snugly but not too tight. We recommend wiggling your foot in the shoe or standing up and walking around the room to make sure. If your laces are too tight, simply slide the lock down slightly, readjust your laces, and repeat.
When your laces are at a comfortable fit, use your pair of scissors to trim off the excess lace. We recommend cutting 2-3 inches below the Lock device.
Step 4: Secure
Finally, attach the Cord Clip onto the ends of the laces, and align the trimmed ends of the laces with the teeth inside the Cord Clip. It is very important that you align the ends properly to ensure that the Cord Clip stays securely attached. Then, simply snap the Cord Clip together to secure.
