U.K. dance band Funkapolitan's stateside self-titled debut (issued summer 1982) was produced by August Darnell, former member of Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, and famous for his own dance hit, "I'm a Wonderful Thing." The guitar/bass-driven, Latin-tinged band certainly lives up to its name, offering tight dancefloor workouts like the thumpin' first single "Run Run Run," "War" (not the Edwin Starr hit), "Illusion," and "In the Crime of Life" ("no one steals like I steal for you"). All were dance club hits and issued as 12" extended remixes. The skaters favored "If Only."

There are some light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks that cause some light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Cover has a small sticker stain on top left corner, a few light marks and two small tears on top back edge and is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
