Title:  Plantation circa 1800's Mini Flowers Brown Fabric designed by Ro Gregg for Northcott ~ Sold by the 1/4 yard increment
  • This fabric has been OOP (Out of Print) for a very long time ~ It is very rare and hard to find
Item Description:

You are buying 1/4 yard increment of Lace Stripe Dark Blue and Maroon from the Plantation circa 1800's collection designed by Ro Gregg for Northcott The lace stripes are dark blue alternating with a maroon stripe in between.  The stripes run the length of the fabric. The designs for these fabrics were inspired by fabrics from the 1800's. The photos included are actual scans of the fabrics; some of them include a ruler at the bottom and or side that show the size of the designs relative to the square of fabric shown.  One photo shows a section of a Double Wedding Ring quilt that was made for a family member using these fabrics.  The last three photos show the 37 fabrics we had in stock from the Plantation collection at the time this listing was created. The only fabric you are buying though is the one shown in first several photos up to the picture that shows the selvage. Check our other listings for the other fabrics in the collection.

If you buy only one increment, a quantity of 1, the fabric piece you receive will measure 18" x 21"/22" unless you request it otherwise.  You can request it to be cut off as a skinny 1/4 yard measuring 9" x 43" (full WOF).  Multiple quantities are cut off the bolt in one continuous length as yardage.

This fabric is priced by the single 1/4 yard increment, so you can choose the amount that is right for you from the quantity available.  The pictures really don't do the fabric justice. It is much more beautiful than any picture can show. We are sure that when you see it and feel it you will agree.

Our fabric is:

  • Priced by the 1/4 yard (FQ if only 1 is purchased unless requested as skinny) not by the yard
  • 100% cotton Quilt Shop quality fabric
  • New ~ Still on the bolt from the manufacturer
  • It is not washed, soaked, or ironed
  • Sold in continuous yardage, which means if you buy a quantity more than one (1) it will be shipped in one continuous piece

Need more than one FQ?

  • Buy 2 = 1/2 yard (18" L x 43"44" W)
  • Buy 3 = 3/4 yard (27" L x 43"44" W)
  • Buy 4 = 1 full yard (36" L x 43"44" W)
  • Buy 5 = 1-1/4 yard (45" L x 43"/44" W)
  • And so on . . .
What is a FQ?
It is 1/4 yard of fabric, but it is cut off the bolt differently than the standard 1/4 yard of fabric.  It is cut off the bolt at the 1/2 length (18 inches); then it is cut in half by the width of the fabric. This means that the piece of fabric measures 18 x 21/22 inches. It is FAT instead of being SKINNY like the regular 1/4 yard piece that is cut off as 9 x 43/44 inches (the full width of the fabric). To change your purchase to a regular skinny 1/4 yard: please add a comment to your payment or send us a message thru eBay's "My Messages" system.  Whether your 1/4 yard is fat or skinny does not effect the price; they are both the same

Shipping Information:

  • We are always happy to combine your purchases to save you money on shipping costs, but you need to make ONLY one payment in order to receive the most savings.
  • Save on shipping costs. Be sure to buy using the ADD TO CART button if you are buying more than one item from us.  The only time to use the Buy it Now button is when you know you will only be buying one item since it will force you to pay for each item individually.  Buying multiple items and paying for them individually causes you to not receive our combined shipping rate. We do not refund excess shipping since we have already paid fees on those funds; we compensate you with extra fabric whenever possible or give you a Store Credit to use on the next time you come to shop our store
  • Basically if eBay says your shipping cost is more than $8.99 for First Class Mail, be sure to select the Priority shipping option during the checkout process.

Payment Information:

  • Simply use the Add to Cart button to select all the fabrics you want to purchase instead of the "Buy It Now" button. Add all of your selections to your cart before you go to checkout.  You will save on shipping costs with our combined shipping rates.
  • Payment is then appreciated within 24 hours, but it is expected within a maximum of 4 days.

International Buyers:

  • Import duties, taxes, and or customs charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.  These charges are the buyer's responsibility; please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be BEFORE bidding or buying.
  • We use the eBay Standard International Shipping option, which is your best price option, your fabric will be shipped using the First Class Mail.  It means that it may take longer for your package to arrive.  It is your choice to decide which is more important to you.  First Class costs less, but it can take longer to arrive.  Priority packages travel faster, but cost quite a bit more.  There is tracking available to most countries, but not all.  Priority rates have gone up substantially in the last several years, but we do not control those rates; the USPS (United States Postal Service) sets those rates.
  • Customers from some countries may find that they are blocked from buying; this can be due to different reasons often due to shipping issues.  If you are blocked, but would like to buy our fabrics, please contact us through eBay messages.  We may be able to set up a Special Request listing just for you if we can ship your purchases using the eBay Global Shipping Program (GSP).
