TV boards and purpose of each board:

Power supply board (distributes power throughout TV, typically connected to a power cord)

               Main Board: (manages inputs/outputs for video and sound, runs TV speakers) 

T-con Board: (connects LVDS cable to Main Board "very fragile")

Backlight inverter: (takes power from the power supply to supply your TV with lights)

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE ITEM YOU'RE BUYING EXACTLY MATCHES THE ITEM YOU'RE REPLACING.
