This is a rare September 1962 programme (playbill) from the Sean O'Casey Festival production of the SEAN O'CASEY play "THE PLOUGH AND THE STARS" at London's Mermaid Theatre. (The Festival opened August 15th, 1962 with performances of O'Casey's "Purple Dust" and "Red Roses For Me". "The Plough and the Stars" opened September 25th, 1962 for a three-week engagement, closing October 13th, 1962. The Original West End production opened May 12th, 1926 at London's Fortune Theatre, transferred on June 28th, 1926 to the New Theatre and closed September 4th, 1926 after 133 performances.) .....
