About ISAAC MIZRAHI.....Born in Brooklyn, Isaac Mizrahi's passion for design and performance began at an early age staging puppet shows in his backyard and creating clothes for his mom's friends. A leader in the design business for more than twenty years, Isaac has been awarded four CFDA awards, including one for his groundbreaking documentary "UNZIPPED." His designs are a favorite among celebrities and everyday women alike.

In December 2009 Isaac launched his lifestyle collection, ISAACMIZRAHILIVE! The brand includes all of Isaac's favorite things from handbags to dresses to cheesecakes. In addition, Isaac is the Creative Director of Liz Claiborne New York, overseeing design and development.
His ready-to-wear runway collection is available at high-end retailers and at his freestanding shop in New York City. His book, "How to Have Style," was published in 2008. When not working, Isaac enjoys spending time with his dog Harry, cooking, and watching the Yankees.
