Incorporating the essential features of the original SIDI Adventure Gore-Tex Boots Powerhouse Adventure, the Gore-Tex SIDI Adventure 2 boots boast updates and improvements in strategic areas without distorting the recipe that made the original a successful success. The most important of the improvements that Sidi has made with the redesign of the Adventure 2 Gore-Tex boots is the full-height 14-inch Gore-Tex gaiter, which now extends 3 inches higher on the mast to increase waterproofing particularly useful when gaining the passage of water.
With further stretching in the back of the calf, there is now more space and flexibility in the shaft to accommodate a wider range of rider's calf sizes. SIDI has also increased the area of the coarse-grained leather paneling on the inside of the calf and the instep for a better feeling while standing on the off-road pegs.
The ankle flexion system, the Achilles protector with tongue in the groove and other TPUs on the SIDI Adventure 2 have been perfected for a thinner overall profile with better protection, eliminating any clumsiness or clutter that interfaces with the bike. Strategically positioned flex zones allow for better immediate flexibility, with a much shorter break-in period, better walking, dexterity and comfort. Wherever you can venture, the SIDI Adventure 2 Gore-Tex boots are one of the best off-road, on-off / off-road boots you can buy. As for the special ""Grain"" material with which the upper of the Performer Gore boots is made, it is a microfibre with characteristics very similar to real leather.
Full Grain microfiber does not age and maintains its characteristics unchanged over time. Lighter than leather, it has very high mechanical resistance to traction, tearing and repeated flexing. It maintains its softness regardless of the temperature to which it is subjected. Full Grain microfiber is stable, breathable and waterproof.
