Description
Developing the new RAIDER family has been the biggest challenge since
birth of ATK®. How could we improve our RAIDER collection?
The new “R12” family can boast 4 different production technologies and
6 ATK® patents, including the new Snow Pack Proof System® for
avoid the entry of snow, ice and debris under the mechanisms
locking of the tip.
The vast know-how that ATK® has developed in the Race sector has also
allowed to obtain a weight of only 330 grams, including new
Rear Ski-Brake which offers great braking action with a
surprising ease of use and lightness.
A new fully adjustable Freeride Spacer is available as
accessory and definitively closes the gap between the free categories
Touring and free Ride, shifting precision and transmission of
power at a competition alpine binding level.
The R12 binding is available in 3 different colors: Black and White
(White), Black and Light Blue and Black, Titanium and Orange
(Orange) to perfectly match any ski design.
TECHNICAL FEATURES:
- Easy Entry System®: a new tip geometry makes step-in
- extremely simple, immediate and safe with all tech boots,
- even in the case of worn soles.
- SNOW PACK PROOF SYSTEM®: avoids ice deposit problems and
- relative locking of the tip, even in the case of multiple skin changes
- and significantly reduces snow accumulation in the toe cap, thus ensuring
- optimal lightness in all phases of use.
- UHV® System (Up-hill Hardness Variator): system that allows
- vary the locking hardness of the toe in ascending mode.
- Compensates for wear over the years of the front insert of the boot,
- provides adequate closing force for each user and reduces
- any unnecessary pressure on the locking mechanism.
- CAM RELEASE SYSTEM®: the historic patented ATK® system that
- guarantees the best descent performance on the market, one release
- extremely precise and the softest heel step-in of
- sector.
- ELASTIC response SYSTEM®: an elastic sliding system (8+4 /
- total 12 mm of elasticity) applied to the heel which guarantees the
- natural flex of the ski (even in the case of large jumps/compressions),
- release performance in case of strong stresses and reduced loads
- on the ski-boot-binding system.
- An updated version of the Magneto Heel Flaps® System provides 5 different walking positions.
- The integrated rampant holder ensures the perfect insertion of each ATK® crampon.
- The adjustment slide integrated in the heel allows for a
- quick adjustment (25mm) when used with different boots.
- The release system on the heel guarantees lateral (Mz) and vertical (My) adjustment from 5 to 12.
- ski BRAKE ELASTIC SLIDE: the skistopper is equipped with a sled
- elastic on the plate in contact with the sole of the boot which
- guarantees maintenance of the lateral release value.
- New rear SKISTOPPER included, characterized by extreme
- quality and lightness typical of ATK®. Two positions (up and down)
- can be selected using a simple button
- New FREERIDE SPACER (optional): thanks to this accessory
- we have covered and overcome the gap between tech attacks and
