Due to the high brightness, high UV radiation and high internal pressure of the XBO lamp in both hot and cold conditions, it needs to be operated in a suitable airtight housing. When handling these lamps, always use the protective sheath provided. They should only be used as open lamps after suitable safety measures have been taken. Further information is available on request or can be found in the leaflet or operating instructions included with the lamp. Xenon lamp elements are always under extremely high pressure. They may explode if subjected to shock or damage. Therefore, discarded XBO reflector lamps should be kept in the provided housing or under a protective cover and in an inaccessible place before being sent out for disposal.
