Brushpot crafted from quality bamboo from Zhejiang Yuyao city.  Exhibits slight wear to the finish.

"Ni Tian was Chinese painter during the Qing dynasty known for his depictions of horses, landscapes, and floral still lifes. Born Baotian in 1855 in Yangzhou, China, he was predominantly influenced by the works of Ren Bonian. The artist died in 1911 in China.
