The ’53OP starts with an exotic Sungkai tonewood body and is then given an Open Pore ToabaccoBurst finish. The ’53OP appears to be traditional but actually has a 4-position pickup switch; the 4th position allows you to use both pickups in series. Just like having a nice fat humbucker when those pickups are working together.
