Offered today is a fine quality solid 14k yellow gold comfort fit (smooth interior) 4mm diamond wedding or stacking band. This is a nice hefty band at 4.9 grams of gold, with approximately 1.00 ctw in 14 full-cut, sparkling round brilliant diamonds channel-set across the front. I have shown it with a solitaire in the photos--DIAMOND SOLITAIRE IS NOT INCLUDED.
The band is very well made. Fourteen genuine diamonds approximately 2.7 mm (.07 ct each) are set within the face of the ring, going about 2/3 of the way around, for a total of about 1.00 ctw. The diamonds are bright and fiery.
This band has no visible hallmarks but it does test positive for solid 14k gold, guaranteed. It measures 3/16" wide. It weighs a hefty 4.9 grams, and it is a size 8.25. This band is in very good pre-owned condition, but could use a professional buff and polish.
**PLEASE NOTE: Because of different gold testing practices, (traditional acid and stone test vs. eBay's Authenticity Guarantee electronic gold testing machine), items stamped 14k may read or actually be between 13.5k-15k gold, and if stamped 18k, may read or actually be between 16.8 and 19k. Until 1981, manufacturers of jewelry could use gold that was 13.5 karat or higher and round off, thus still stamping it 14k. Much of the jewelry sold on eBay is older than 1981. **
