Bound in the original embossed blue cloth with titles on the top board in gilt. good plus condition, with some marks to the cloth and some fraying to the board corners, edges and the spine. reinforcements to the inner hinges. Occasional light handling marks but mainly clean and bright. Large format, 42cm, 16.5 inches, tall. Frontispiece (self portrait of Bobbin in imitation of Hogarth) engraved title page, unpaginated pages with 45 illustrations followed by 5 pages of Explanations of the Plates, all printed on one side of the page only.
