This compass is made of brass and features the poem "The Bells and Queen Victoria" on the inner top piece of the compass. This compass comes with a wooden box made of teak wood as well as a descriptive plate on the inner top of box. The box also features a brass clasp to lock it as well as a brass plate on the outer top labeled "Victorian Pocket Compass 1875"
