Cut the corners off so the patches are more rounded 

and not square to make more secure

The vinyl repair patch is to be cut to necessary size using scissors and "rounding" 

the corners (to decrease stresses on patch and liner).

These repair patches will work under water.

Not recommended for Soft Sided Pools as these pool walls will move 

and twist therefore breaking the seal on the patches.
