FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE.....

From estate liquidation...

Previously owned, in excellent condition, fine ceramic / pottery small wall plate. 

 

Identified on the back as illustrated, in the style of Portuguese regional wares, "Anfora Agueda".

It measures 6 1/2 inches (16cm) in diameter. 

It has survived free of chips, cracks or repairs.

Expertly hand painted with a bold rooster, a bird synonymous with the region.

This would easily adapt to wall display since the base rim is pierced for a wire.

I have inserted a standard size playing card in one photo as a size reference.
