LISTED FOR AUCTION TODAY IS A VERY RARE CIVIL WAR BADGE, CLEARLY MARKED ON THE BACK "J.K. DAVIDSON, PHILA.". IT IS A GAR OF "GRAND ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC" MEMBERSHIP BADGE, BLUE AND GOLD WITH 2 OAK LEAVES & SILK 13 STAR UNITED STATES FLAG! THE MEDAL MEASURES ABOUT 1 1/2" X 1/2", IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION AND GOOD WORKING ORDER! THE FLAG MEASURES 2 3/8" X 1 1/4". THE FLAG IS INTACT, DOES HOWEVER HAVE SEVERAL RIPS, DUE TO AGE. WHAT AN AMAZING FIND DATING TO THE LATE 1800'S!
