- The Tsunami2 TSU-BigSteam
- The TSU-Big Steam is a limited edition decoder available in 3 board formats. This decoder features a true UP Big Boy recording! Previously this sound file was only offered in Athearn factory installed decoders, but now you can get it on our web store. This decoder is available in 3 board formats: TSU-1100, TSU-2200, and TSU-21PNEM8. You will also get all of the features that you know and love from our Tsunami2 decoder line including: Reactive Dynamic Digital Exhaust, Functioning locomotive and train brakes, injectors, power reverse, and firebox flicker. We also offer a large selection of selectable sound effects including: bells (12), Whistles (90+), couplers, dynamos and more!
- DYNAMIC DIGITAL EXHAUST
- For added realism, you’ll love our reactive Dynamic Digital Exhaust (DDE) feature. When your locomotive is traveling across flat terrain and simply maintaining speed, you will hear your locomotive chugging along. But, when the locomotive encounters a grade and the engineer applies more throttle to get the train up the hill, the engine sounds will automatically react and reflect the increase of power needed to crest the hill. DDE accomplishes this by calculating the changes in strain or load on the motor and adjusting the exhaust to appropriately simulate the work the engineer would be doing to the throttle of the engine. This gives Tsunami2 the ability to create the most realistic experience possible.

- EASY INSTALLATION
- The TSU-2200 can simply plug into models equipped with a DCC quick plug. Our 9-Pin JST to NMRA 8-Pin Wiring Harness (P.N. 810135) can also be use to plug the TSU-2200 into models equipped with an NMRA 8-Pin plug. The TSU-2200 can also be wired into a large variety of models. The TSU-21PNEM8 simply plugs into models equipped with a 21-pin NEM socket.
- These decoders include an optional capacitor or can be wired to a CurrentKeeper (P.N. 810140 or 810160) to maintain performance over dirty track and switches.

About us
Squeaky’s Trains & Things LLC was founded in December of 2019. It was started by our family that has been in love with everything, trains large and small, driven by creativity since we were born. We grew up playing with model trains and watching, learning about and studying different aspects of magnificent locomotives on a daily basis and today we still do.
It also has helped us get through rough times while dealing with being diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Trains and creativity have always helped calm our daily lives while also becoming self-taught on making designs and artwork.
With this our family activity that grew into a really big hobby! We realized local train stores were barely available and we also wanted to start offering other model railroading fans our self-made creations for their enjoyment. We want to help the community around us by providing model railroad supplies and continue the legend of the greatest hobby on earth, model trains and railroading!
Our Squeaky’s Trains designs are handcrafted and custom made by our family. We offer a large variety of items from model train objects to household goods. Most in-house models are 3D printed and custom designed in Blender. We also offer custom features for premade model railroad objects, for example train cabin seating and light holders.
