Jimi Hendrix collectors take note! This is a rare Gibson Custom Shop Jimi Hendrix Psychedelic Hand-Painted Flying V! A recreation of the original 1967 V that Jimi emblazoned with his own personal artwork using whatever materials he could find, mainly nail polish! He would use this V on slow Blues numbers, usually "Red House," but it eventually found its way into the hands of Mick Cox of Eir Apparent, who quickly stripped the original artwork off to make it his own guitar. <br><br> In 2006, the Gibson Custom Shop decided to reissue the iconic Psychedelic V, with 300 limited instruments being handpainted by master luthier Bruce Kunkel. This is number 93. The guitar is in overall excellent condition, no dents or dings. The tone knob is missing the silver reflector insert, that's about it! The certificate of authenticity and a vintage replica strap are included as well as a Gibson sign that comes as an added accessory!

Shipments within New York are subject to state sales tax. Payment is expected within 3 days, or an unpaid item case will be opened and the item will be relisted if the case is closed without a received payment. Shipping

Items over $100 ship free throughout the US via UPS Ground, Next Day Air, 2 Day, or 3 Day. USPS is used for smaller items. Our handling times rarely exceed 1 business day. If for some reason there is a delay processing your order, we will contact you right away.

International orders ship via UPS or USPS Priority Mail. International shipments are generally subject to Customs Duties (VAT Charges) above and beyond the purchase price and shipping charged by The Music Zoo. We do not lower declared values on international packages. Customers should consult Customs in their own country about these additional charges prior to purchasing. Items containing Rosewood will require approximately 3 to 4 weeks of processing/handling time due to required CITES documentation.

If an item arrives with any issue or amount of damage not disclosed prior to purchase, please hold the item, be sure to retain all packing materials and contact us immediately. Please allow us the opportunity to help prior to lodging a claim with your credit card company or PayPal. We will arrange for the item to be picked up and inspected immediately. Please do not send the item back yourself unless instructed by The Music Zoo, this will greatly complicate the process. We will work with you to replace the item or refund you in full if the item is not replaceable.

Returns

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase, please contact us if you are not before leaving any feedback! Items can be returned within 30 days for a refund of the sale price. No RMA needed! The customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways as these are separate transactions. If the item is not as described, we will cover the shipping charges either through the Ebay Return or we will send a return label. Returns are inspected upon arrival to confirm condition.
