A very interesting postcard picturing a Braniff Airways DC-6 in full flight.  This particular card was used as advertising / promotional value for H. C. Krammee in Houston, TX and further stamped "San Antonio."

This postcard was never mailed.

The big DC-6, dubbed El Conquistador in September 1949, became the backbone of Braniff's South America system with service inaugurated to the continent in June 1948. Later, luxurious DC-6 Sleeper Service was begun on Braniff US domestic service on March 1, 1950, between Chicago and Houston.

I have provided a scan of both front and back.  The corners display moderate wear and there is a print dot near the word "Texas."  Please ask questions before purchasing.

Thanks for looking.
