The scarf comes from Fall 1998 - which many consider to be one of Dolce's most important collections, and a real turning point in modern fashion. 

The scarf is a huge 34" square - some people wore these as wrap tops or skirts - but even as a scarf it's a luxurious / decadent amount of fabric!

It's 100% silk twill with hand-rolled edges.

The design is Dolce's iconic Russian Wheel, done in all jewel tones, primarily red over navy.

The brand name is woven into the scarf. The original mainline tag was oversized and the original owner snipped it out - you can still see the thread marks where it was.

Other than the tag removed, this scarf is in beautiful condition. There are a few tiny flaws in the silk if you pore over it, but nothing noticeable when worn and very difficult to photograph. No smells, no issues, it's just absolutely gorgeous and vibrant.
