Estate find... 

Vintage egg shaped covered box bone china trinket / catch-all box from England.

The maker is identified on the base as illustrated, "St. James's Of London".

The box is decorated with detailed Botanical Floral transfers.

Measured end to end, it is 3 1/4 inches (8cm) long and stands 2 1/4 inches (5.5cm) tall.

 

I have inserted a standard size playing card in one photo as a reference for size.

It has survived free of chips, cracks or wear to the decoration.
