- 12" U.S.S. Cygnus from the movie The Black Hole (1979) - Custom and fan-made, 3D printed in high quality PLA material.

- Comes in a 7 part kit, as shown in 2nd photo

 -Model comes unglued and unpainted, it can be painted and enhanced with a variety of materials to create an amazing life-like Ship. An adhesive such as super glue will be needed.

- Photos of the built assembled ship are to show what it will look like. You will receive the 7 part kit.

- Photos represent the quality and detail in which you will receive. There are a lot of very thin and fragile parts that make this ship's characteristics, will be packaged with care. There should be some level of expectation that 3D printed ships of this detail are not perfect and some very fragile parts may need to be repaired or cleaned up.

"The U.S.S. Cygnus (also known as a "Death Ship" to B.O.B.) is an exploration vessel and served as the main location throughout the whole film, The Black Hole. Background Like the U.S.S. Palomino, its mission was to discover inhabitable life in outer space under the command of Captain Reinhardt. The ship and crew were recalled to return to earth however Reinhardt ignored the orders and the crew turned their trust to Frank McCrae. They tried to commit mutiny but were captured by the ship's robots and were turned into robots themselves. For the last twenty years, the Cygnus was never heard from again and found its way to a black hole where she was finally discovered by the U.S.S. Palomino. "

ABOUT 3D PRINTING: 

3D printers create objects layer by layer, slowly. Think of it like an endless tube of toothpaste depositing one line at a time. During this layering, there may be minor imperfections. On some parts, layer lines are also visible. These can easily be fixed if you decide you’d like to have a more polished look on your final piece.

For 3d printed terrain you can use filler primer such as Krylon or sprays from auto parts stores. Also consider using textured paint, spray paint, or other products commonly used in ship modeling.
