?This is an ORIGINAL pair of uncut embroidered on dark OD cloth BRIGADIER (One-Star) GENERAL'S rank insignia, as worn on a variety of US Army jackets and Class A blouses, during WWII and afterward to the present. Cloth rank insignia was used in lieu of metal insignia, since it wouldn't snag on web gear (such as field suspenders), on objects in vehicles, aircraft (e.g., parachute harnesses) and elsewhere. The cloth's dark OD color is strong and unblemished and is MINT, UNUSED condition, ready to be sewn onto a jacket/blouse of your choice.
