The PV combiner box is suitable for photovoltaic grid-connected and off-grid power generation systems. Its main function is to converge the input of PV array.

It has three protection measures:

1. The PV combiner box is configured with photovoltaic dedicated high-voltage lightning arrester, DC fuse and circuit breaker to provide short circuit fault protection and lightning protection.

2. It has protect function of over-voltage and over-current so as to avoid damage to photovoltaic panels and inverters when the fault occurs.

10A fuse

Normally, the output current of a 12V solar panel is 7-10A. Even if it's a 24V panel, the output current would be close to but no more than 10A. So if two panels were connected in parallel, no matter the voltage, the current should exceed 15A. Therefore, a 15A fuse is almost the same as a 10A fuse, which couldn't stand the high-current of a parallel solar panel pack. In that situation, the combiner box would need at least 20A fuse to do the job.
