FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE....
Vintage letter opener in the form of a miniature sword.
The handle and hilt are cast in what is probably a base metal, finished with a bright gold plating.
The blade is also embellished and is in steel.
Found in a recent estate lot of desk accessories and previously owned, it has survived in excellent condition
free of any damage or evidence of excessive use.
The tip is not dinged and the handle is tight to the blade.
It measures 11 inches (28.5cm) in length.
