Octavo, x, 285, 268, [1] pages, bound in period three quarter leather over marbled boards. Spine lettered and decorated in gilt. Illustrated with black and white engravings throughout. Some rubbing and wear, top board detached, rear hinge cracking, there is a section of pages that were bound out of order, previous owner's inscription, scuffs, else in good + condition.
