This is a brand new Gear Kit for repairing both Mercedes Headrest Adjuster and Power Seat adjuster mechanics (either side in the car), recommended for below mentioned types and years. If you would like to replace all plastic gears that may get broken in the interior over time, this is the perfect package for you.

This kit contains every part that usually needs replacement. 2 gear kits for the headrests, 4 worm wheels for the seats, 8 gears in total. More than $100 value when sold separately. The seat gears are made of Onyx, carbon reinforced polyamide, the headrest gears are Polycarbonate - both engineering grade 3D printing material. Color may be different from photo.

Installation:

Please check that the threaded shaft can rotate freely to prevent stripping the replacement gear. It is recommended to lubricate with grease that has no graphite content. (General purpose grease will do just fine)

You may need to press the new gears on with the nut for the seat adjuster, and a socket for the headrest. It may need quite a bit of force. I recommend no to use a hammer or excessive force, rather press or push these. When installing the headrest gears, one must install the larger gear first, so that the smaller gear (which can rotate freely) may mesh into it properly.
