Original OZ 45 released in 1975 on Arista Records. Cat: AR10969.

Formed by 15 year old Max Merritt in 1956 in Christchurch NZ, they were one of NZ's earliest Rock'n'Roll bands, and made a name for themselves playing to US servicemen based in that city for Operation Deep Freeze. They signed to HMV in 1959 and recorded an album before moving to Zodiac and Viking. Their early recordings have provided an source of inspiration for several generations of New Zealand garage bands, and are often compiled.

There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some light crackles and is in VG+ condition.


Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brYoshikazu own paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
