Some phones do not have the other carrier’s access points pre-programmed into the phone and you must obtain and enter this information
for your carrier yourself or have your carrier do it for you. This mostly occurs on older phones and some Verizon exclusive phones.
Conversely, some phones already have this information and all you have to do is insert your carrier’s SIM card.
