GSM gateway ECCOM Bridge is a multifunctional device,

allowing subscribers of cellular GSM networks to significantly reduce costs

to mobile communications and significantly expand the possibilities of telephone communication.

Eccom Basis is a modern communication center for your office or home.



Saving

First of all, it works great as a normal gateway.  By connecting to it a city telephone line or an internal line of an office mini-PBX, you get the opportunity to call from a mobile phone to a landline and, vice versa, at the same rates that exist for calls between two mobile phones.  Especially impressive savings can be achieved if the gateway and the subscriber's mobile phone are members of the same "corporation".  In addition, after the abolition of fees for incoming calls and changes in tariffs, the problem of calls from landlines to mobile phones has become urgent.  Using a GSM gateway, you can reduce the fee for such calls from $0.23 to $0.03-0.05 per minute.

Telephonization of objects

ECCOM Basis can also work as a telephone line emulator.  This means that if you do not have the opportunity to connect to a city telephone line, you can, nevertheless, telephone your office, exhibition stand or country house in a matter of minutes, wherever there is a GSM coverage area.  By connecting a fixed telephone, radiotelephone or mini-PBX to ECCOM Basis, you solve the problem of communication with the outside world and again at low cost.

Connecting to a computer

Now you can configure the device not only remotely from a mobile or landline phone (this is certainly a necessary, but not always convenient feature), but also using a personal computer.  ECCOM Basis has a special connector for connecting to a computer.  The setup process in this case becomes simple and intuitive, just like working with any office application.  You can set the access rights of subscribers to the device, limit the use of roaming or long-distance calls, organize individual or group sending of SMS messages on command or according to a schedule, and much more.

Own billing system

An important and necessary function is our own billing system, with which you can determine the individual costs of all subscribers of the system with a detailed breakdown by cost items.  This is special software that may be supplied with the device.  The billing system uses data on all connections made by the GSM gateway and allows you to get visual reports on subscribers' calls, their billing, and the savings achieved.  Using the billing system, you can easily simulate your costs when switching to another mobile operator tariff plan and decide which operator or tariff plan is optimal for your call structure.  Thus, using ECCOM Basis you not only reduce the cost of using communication, but also get the opportunity to fully manage and charge your "corporate" network.

Sensors and external devices

External sensors can be connected to the device (for example, a burglar alarm).  When sensors are triggered, ECCOM Basis will automatically send an SMS message to the specified number.  In addition, ECCOM Basis allows you to control external devices (household appliances, electronic locks, video surveillance systems, climate control, etc.).  By calling the GSM gateway number, you can, for example, turn on the air conditioner in 20 minutes.  until you return home.

Built-in answering machine

The built-in answering machine will not only record all messages that will arrive on the phone during your absence in the communication zone, but will also inform you about their arrival, and will also give you the opportunity to listen to them remotely using your mobile phone as soon as you are back in the communication zone.

Data transfer

Eccom Basis can be used as a modem.  The device allows you to transfer data at speeds up to 9.6 Kb / s, and in GPRS mode - up to 26.8 Kb / s.  You can connect fax machines to the gateway, receive and send faxes to a personal computer.

call-back

In this mode, the GSM-gateway, having received a call from a registered subscriber, "beats" him and calls back to this number.  This mode will save the subscriber's money and optimize communication costs.

High call quality

Unlike most similar devices on the market, ECCOM Basis uses a built-in GSM module instead of an external mobile phone.  In addition to improving the appearance, this has led to an increase in the reliability of the device.  In particular, the battery of an external mobile phone operated in an unfavorable mode of constant recharging, which led to its premature wear.  The problem of electromagnetic compatibility of the gateway and the base mobile phone has disappeared: there is less noise and mutual interference.  The built-in echo cancellation system improved the quality of communication, saving the subscriber from the unpleasant "echo" effect that is often present in GSM networks.
