This eight ton flat car was built by Carter Brothers of Newark,
California. They built these flats for the Monterey and Salinas Valley
Railroad, the South Pacific Coast Railroad, the North Pacific Coast
Railroad, and they found their way to many other western railroads. These kits consist of precut basswood frame, siding and roof with styrene,
brass or white metal detail parts including full brake gear, decals by Thinfilm and complete plans, templates, and step-by-step instructions. Kits do
not include trucks or couplers. We have a wide variety of trucks available for these kits so please contact us. Combine
