All LEDs are 100% tested before being sent out so you can be confident they will work. The usual cause of an LED failing to light is the polarity is wrong. The positive (+12v) side of each LED is marked with a black stripe to aid fitting. These LED lamps are polarity sensitive, so if you find an LED that doesn't work, the first thing to try is to pull out the LED, rotate 180 degrees and refit.
