An incredible rarity from the Age of the Sun King: 24 pages marriage contract of King Louis XIV barber and valet Rene LeBlanc. This document provides a historic glimpse into the life of the Royal Court, possessing a multitude of autographs, including of the King Louis XIV himself. The great French monarchs on occasion signed as witnesses on marriage contracts for people close to them. This was a great honor and usually symbolic of your importance to the King. Along with newlyweds Rene Leblanc and Elizabeth Lefebvre autographs, certificate contains the signatures of almost the entire Royal Court including many celebrities. Manuscript was signed in the monarch's residence in Paris and confirmed by Francois Ogier and Pierre Gary the notary guardians of the King.
