authentic antique, probably late medieval, 14th or 15th century,
black smith made, forged & wrought iron kitchen utensil,
a bolbous shaped hanging pan / cooking pot / kettle, called
Cauldron
forged of revited metal parts and bands,
the 2 bands with their revit nails are very well visible on the inside,
the ring handles (eyes) are revited to the sides with a nail through the decorative shaped piece of iron,
the grip shows incisions of geometric lines,
the handle and chain are also hand hammered,
the whole show it's age and use and has an authentic, truly aged patine,
it is encrusted through the time, but feels smooth and it has a warm glow,
overall in very good condition, no holes, no cracks.
