This is a previously owned, adult-one-size-fits-all (OSFA), dark-blue hat with “Toledo Mud Hens” and an old-school “Muddy” mascot embroidered on the front and back (American Needle brand, 100% cotton). It is a baseball-styled cap with a curved peak and a strapback adjuster in back (to quickly fit most wearers).
The Toledo Mud Hens Baseball Club is the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The mascot’s name is Muddy. The Mud Hens first year of baseball dates back to 1896, and many famous individuals have played for Toledo over the years (Jim Thorpe, Casey Stengel, Kirby Puckett, Kirk Gibson).
