Item Description

A nice antique Chaplin's patent plane.  In overall good used condition with original cap and Chaplin's Improved Iron.  Has a good front knob with some wear and a clean hard rubber tote with some wear and a few mild dings.  Retains about 70% or so of the original japanning.  Corrugated bed is smooth.  Measures about 15 inches long and 2-1/2 across, iron is 1-3/4".  I think it is close to a Stanley 5-1/4 size.
